WARSAW, IN - For the fifth year in a row, the Warsaw Community High School Cheerleading Team has qualified for the Indiana State Cheerleading Championships. The Tigers will travel to New Castle High School this Saturday to compete against the top high school teams in their division.
During the state qualifying competition, the Tigers placed in the top three, earning their spot among Indiana’s best. Their performance time at State is scheduled for 11:25 a.m. on Saturday.
“I couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group of athletes,” said Kari Doty, cheerleading coach. “They have shown unmatched dedication, teamwork, and heart throughout the season. As we head to State, I know they will represent WCHS with pride, spirit, and excellence.”
Warsaw’s competitive season began in September and continued through early October. Throughout the season, the team earned three second-place finishes and one third-place finish, building strong momentum heading into this weekend’s championship.
The community is invited to join in a special send-off celebration as the cheerleaders depart for State. The team will leave from the high school TRAC at 7:30 a.m. this Saturday, November 8. Supporters are encouraged to come out, cheer them on and help send the Tigers off in true Warsaw spirit!
