Hello Sophomore and Junior Parents,

    Today your students were given their PSAT results from October. Attached you will find an explanation on how to read your students results as well as an example student page. 

Khan Academy is a wonderful FREE resource for your students to prepare to retake the PSAT or take the SAT.  Khan Academy pairs with College Board so students are able to link their PSAT and SAT scores to this tutoring site. This allows them to get guided tutoring based on areas that they could improve.  Find out how!! Click Here

Your student's PSAT scores will be utilized in multiple ways including Advanced Placement Potential and Dual Credit eligibility. PSAT is not the only factor in these opportunities but they are considered.

PSAT Example Results 


There is still time to sign up for the SAT Prep class! The SAT Prep will cover both English and Math. Students can sign up for one or both subjects. The class will take place each week during Enrichment beginning Thursday, February 25th and concluding April 28th, just in time for the May 7th SAT test. Sign up in the guidance office.

SAT Prep Class:

We are once again offering an SAT Prep class to assist students in preparing for the SAT test. Whether you are a first time SAT Test taker, or someone who is looking for a way to improve your SAT scores, you may wish to sign up for this SAT Prep course. Classes will be held on Thursdays during our Enrichment period. Students can sign up for one or both subjects - Math and English. Please sign up in the guidance office as soon as possible to secure your placement.

The SAT will be given here at Warsaw Community High School on November 8th. You can start signing up now at sat.collegeboard.org.

The ACT will be given at Grace College on October 25th and December 13th. Sign up at actstudent.org.

The June 7 SAT room assignments have been posted outside the Counseling/Guidance Office and just inside door #16 at the end of the English department. Students planning to take the June 7 SAT should plan to be here no later than 7:45 am, doors open @ 7:15 and the test begins @ 8:00 am.

Be sure to bring an ID with you along with your SAT admission ticket

. Also plan to bring your calculator, a snack and a water. Should there be questions see Mr. Swaim in the Counseling/Guidance Office.
