Classroom Information
About Me...
I grew up in southern Michigan and came to Indiana to attend Grace College. After a couple of years in Wisconsin we moved back here and settled in! My wonderful wife teaches Kindergarten at Eisenhower Elementary. I have one son that is a college freshman and one daughter who is in her junior year at college. She is also married to my wonderful son-in-law!  We are active at Community Grace Brethren Church.
Classes I Teach ...

I have moved around the building in the past teaching a variety of math, science, and computers. This year I am full time in the BMIT department teaching a variety of computer classes and helping with our Professional Career Internship program! Specific computer classes for this year include Web Design 1, Web Design 2, Photoshop, Flash, Video Editing, and Computer Repair.

An excellent co-curricular organization I became involve in quite a few years ago is Business Professionals of America. Mr. Waldeck was scheduled to take a trip to Philidephia with a group of students when he needed an emergency surgery. I ended up taking these students on about 2 days notice and have been involved with BPA since.

BPA allows the student to show off their knowledge of business and computer skills at our local competition with 5 other schools. Those students that do well go on to the State Leadership Conference in Indianapolis. What a great experience for these students. We usually take 15 - 25 students on this trip where they compete, motivated by speakers, and have a good time meeting new friends from around the state

Those that do great at the state level may move on to the National Leadership Conference! We usually have a handful of students qualify for this priveledge. The National Leadership Conference is held in a major city in the U.S. A. We have taken students to Philidephia, Anaheim, Chicago, Reno, New York and many others. This spring the NLC is close by in Indianapolis!
