I have been teaching at WCHS for 18 years. I love working with students who have special needs. I learn from them each and every day. They have taught me many things through my years working with them. I also love to see the peer tutors in our program grow and learn from students with special needs. They truly are difference makers. There is something wonderfully rewarding in being a part of an effort that does make a difference.

I have taught at Warsaw Community High School since 2011. I have seven years experience teaching Physics and Earth Science at Homestead High School in Fort Wayne; I had my oldest son in 1995 and was able to quit teaching formally at that time. In the intervening years, I have been very active in a variety of pursuits. I have tutored for math and science, worked in church children's ministries, and worked in summer science camps for children. I have been involved in the Madison Elementary PTO, first as secretary, then as President from 2008-2011. I was employed by the Warsaw Community Schools from 2009-2011 as a substitute teacher. I enjoy children of all ages, but I really enjoying teaching at the high school level.
My husband, Mark, is a 1983 graduate of Warsaw High School. We have three sons; one at IPFW and two in Warsaw schools.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns regarding your student.
