Happy Spring! 

The WCHS Journalists and I are happy to put out the newest issue of The Roar. With many exciting events quickly approaching like Battle of the Bands and Prom, this issue is jam packed with good stories and fun information! Today is National Library Workers Day!  Mrs. Denzer and Mrs. Sapper are the two wonderful ladies who work very hard every day to provide you with the best possible library service.  Please let them know just how much you appreciate all that they do for our school.
Mallery is a Specialist for the JAG program. This is a class that helps Juniors and Seniors find their purpose, passions and goals for graduation and life after high school. Miss Pierce does fun activities with the students as well as talk about life after high school, job readiness and preparedness. She says the best part of her job is to see her students develop and grow into who they are meant to be everyday and throughout the course of the school year.

Mallery graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University. She loves to hang out with family and friends and do life together. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing letters and hanging out with friends.
Taryn is a Case Manager for students with Disabilities/Behavior Intervention Plans otherwise known as a Behavior Coach. Mrs. Hepler provides services to students with disabilites to assist them to learn appropriate behaviors in the school and community settings. She attends IEP meetings and reports to the students Teacher of Record. She has been in this position for 3 years and hopes to continue for a long time. Taryn loves developing relationships with as many students as she can. She desires to be a safe person that students can cry and laugh with. She is her students biggest fan. She hopes to bridge the gap by filling a void that students might not be receiving at home.

Taryn graduated from Ball State and has been married to Mike for 27 years. They have 4 children, one son and three daughters. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors and loves to travel.
