During February, the following teachers brought classes, multiple times, to the Media Center to have their students engage in valuable research using our reliable sources.  Thank you, Mrs. Riley, Ms. Tester, Mr. Grayam, Ms. Eitel, Ms. Allen, Mrs. Moss, Mr. Richards, Mr. Bailey, Ms. McAfee, Ms. Hicks, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. LaRue and Mrs. Sudhoff!

  • Media Center Mission

    The Warsaw Community High School Media Center supports the mission of Warsaw Community Schools and the curriculum of Warsaw Community High School. Our program, guided by the American Association of School Librarian's Standards for the 21st Century Learner, seeks to empower students as they grow into life-long learners by providing:
    • instruction in information literacy and learning experiences to help students grow as inquiring critical thinkers, skilled researchers as well as ethical users and communicators of information
    • intellectual, physical and virtual access to a variety of informational materials
    • encouragement to read for personal and aesthetic growth
    • collaboration with teachers to design learning strategies and opportunities to meet the information needs of students within the school curriculum.
