Due to the upcoming ISTEP test, the high school will be modifying its schedule to best meet the needs of students during the testing window.
During the week of May 1, Warsaw Community High School will move its usual block days to Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2. There will be an early release on Tuesday, May 2, with students dismissed at 2:10 p.m.
In coordination with these adjustments, there will not be a block day Wednesday, May 3, or Thursday, May 4.
Bus transportation will be available at 2:51 p.m. for students who cannot leave at the 2:10 p.m. release time.
Warsaw Community Schools is continuing to promote safety and security with the help of Warsaw Police Department. On Wednesday, March 29, WCHS will hold a scheduled search with the WPD K-9 unit. WCS thanks our local law enforcement for their continued support ensuring safety and security in all of our schools.

The Warsaw Community High School Media Center supports the mission of Warsaw Community Schools and the curriculum of Warsaw Community High School. Our program, guided by the American Association of School Librarian's Standards for the 21st Century Learner, seeks to empower students as they grow into life-long learners by providing:
instruction in information literacy and learning experiences to help students grow as inquiring critical thinkers, skilled researchers as well as ethical users and communicators of information
intellectual, physical and virtual access to a variety of informational materials
encouragement to read for personal and aesthetic growth
collaboration with teachers to design learning strategies and opportunities to meet the information needs of students within the school curriculum.
