Scholarship information is available from the Knights of Pythias. Students must be a high school senior and maintain a GPA of 8.0 or above. You will also need to provide two essays as described on the application form. Stop in guidance for more information.

The SAT will be given here at Warsaw Community High School on November 8th. You can start signing up now at sat.collegeboard.org.

The ACT will be given at Grace College on October 25th and December 13th. Sign up at actstudent.org.

WCHS will host a College Night from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 8th. The event will take place in the Career Center Gym. Representatives from area colleges, universities, and various branches of the Armed Forces will be here to meet with students and parents. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to gather information and begin planning your life after high school. You will have a chance to ask questions from a multitude of college admission representatives and military recruiters. A financial aid meeting will take place in Tiger Central at 8pm immediately following the college fair. Mark your calendars for October 8th. A list of schools and military branches confirming their attendance will be posted at a later date.

The College of Technology at Purdue University is hosting WOWiT (Windows of Opportunity for Women in Technology) on Saturday, October 25th. The purpose of WOWiT is to introduce high school students, especially females, to the College of Technology and all that it has to offer. Come to campus and find out how technology is more than a machine or a gadget. It is a way of thinking about today's challenges and overcoming them with innovation, creativity and hard work. The program is free and includes breakfast and lunch for you and one guest. Registration is limited to the first 60 participants and must be submitted by October 3rd. Stop by the guidance office for registration information.
