Hello Juniors! I am your new counselor, Mrs. Wallen. Junior year is an important year for career and college exploration. You should schedule at least 1 college visit during your Junior year. It is also very important that you take the SAT or ACT this year. Register at sat.org/register for the SAT and www.actstudent.org for the ACT. I look forward to meeting with each of you to schedule your Senior year classes starting the end of January! The Kosciusko County Community Foundation will host two Scholarship Information Nights for students and parents this month. The first information session will take place on Monday, January 23 from 5:30-6:30 p.m., and the second will be Tuesday, January 24 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.  At the Scholarship Information Nights, they will walk students and parents through the online scholarship application process and answer any questions you may have.  The same information will be presented both nights so you do not need to attend both sessions.  The Community Foundation is located at 102 East Market Street, in downtown Warsaw.

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation’s 2017 General Scholarship Application is now available online at http://kcfoundation.org/scholarships/.

 

The deadline for the General Scholarship Application and all references is March 15, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.

 

The Community Foundation will host two Scholarship Information Nights for students and parents in January. The Community Foundation is located at 102 East Market Street, Warsaw, 46580. The first night will be on Monday, January 23 from 5:30-6:30 p.m., and the second will be on Tuesday, January 24 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. At the Scholarship Information Nights, we will walk students and parents through the online scholarship application process and answer any questions they may have.

 

The Community Foundation awarded nearly $503,000 in scholarships to 228 area students in its most recently completed fiscal year. These scholarships are made possible by Community Foundation donors who wish to help students pursue a vocational, college or university education.
