The Valiant by Lesley Livingston

Fallon is the daughter of a Celtic king and sister of a legendary warrior who died in battle. On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Fallon is eager to follow in her family's footsteps and join the Cantii war band. But when she's captured and must fight as a female gladiator in Rome, Fallon has no choice but to fight for survival in and out of the arena.
