        Jam is mourning the loss of her boyfriend Reeve. Unable to cope, she is sent to a therapeutic boarding school where her English class focuses on the works of Sylvia Plath. As Jam and her classmates write in special journals, they are transported to another world called Belzhar where the past is restored and Jam can be with Reeve. However, the time will come for her to choose between her past and her future.
