ATTENTION ALL SENIORS! Do we have your attention? Not yet (dramatic pause)…how about now? GREAT!! Please listen to these very important announcements. Photos are still be accepted for the senior commencement slide show. Imagine the disappointment on your parents faces when they are sitting in the audience at graduation, waiting for your bright shining face to appear on the slide show presentation, only to find out that you never submitted your photo! Your mom and dad have worked hard to get you to the place you are today and they want to see you on the BIG SCREEN. P-l-e-a-s-e, submit your photos today. We’d like one baby picture and one current picture. Send your photos to – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it We realize that the published deadline of April 4th has passed, but we want to give you one last opportunity to submit photos. Help us entertain families with your precious baby pics while they await your entrance to one of the most important days of your life.

Secondly, graduation tickets are now available in the guidance office. Students must complete the Senior Questionnaire before receiving their eight (8) tickets. Special seating accommodations (elderly/handicap) can be reserved through Mrs. Stayer in the main office. The countdown is on….let’s finish strong!!

GIRLS TENNIS

WARSAW – The Lady Tigers took the court with some of the state’s best players on Saturday at the Tiger Tennis Courts.

Penn and Munster both had four of their five positions that reached the finals, and Penn came out on top to score 24 team points to take first place, followed by Munster and Fishers with 18 and 17 points respectively.  Elkhart Memorial tallied 14 points to take fourth, followed by Warsaw (9), Merrillville (7) and South Bend Adams (6).

Warsaw’s Balazs to Play Football at Wabash

WARSAW – Warsaw Community High School senior football standout Tanner Balazs has announced his intention to attend Wabash College in the fall and play football for the Little Giants’ program.

Balazs, a speed and sure-handed wide receiver and big play defensive back for the Tigers, announced his decision this week, choosing to attend Wabash where he hopes to compete for a role at slot or possibly the secondary.
