Warsaw Community High School was recognized as one of ten “Head of the Class” high schools in Indiana. Of the 357 Indiana public high schools, WCHS was chosen as a top high school offering the highest educational achievement levels for the lowest amount of tax dollars.

Qualifiers for this award were ISTEP+ pass rates, ISTEP+ Pass+ rates, graduation rates, SAT participation and scores, and Advanced Placement passing scores. 135 schools were named “Best Buy” for giving taxpayers the most value for their money, and 26 high schools were given “honor roll” distinction for excelling academically despite having high at-risk student demographics. The top five schools in each category were selected as “Head of the Class” honorees. Warsaw Community High School was one of the ten high schools receiving this distinguished honor. This is the eleventh year that the Indiana Chamber of Commerce studied public high schools based on these criteria. |
